Support available for assisting the patient at home would be a priority when evaluating discharge plans for an older adult after a lower left lobectomy for lung cancer.

Home care is the supportive care given at home. Care may be provided by professional caregivers or healthcare professionals. Home health services assist the patients in recovering after a facility or hospital stay or require additional support to avoid unnecessary hospitalization and remain safely at home.

The home care is provided by licensed practical nurses, registered nurses or occupational therapists. The greatest segment of home care comprises of unlicensed and licensed non-medical personnel, also the caregivers who help the patient.

What are “cones” in the eye and what do they do?
dusya [7]

Answer:

Cone cells, or cones, are photoreceptor cells in the retinas of vertebrate eyes (e.g. the human eye). They respond differently to light of different or color vision and function best in relatively bright light, as opposed to rod cells, which work better in dim light. Cones are mostly in the center of your retina. They help you see color and fine detail.

Difference between osmosis, diffusion and plasmolysis
pickupchik [31]
Osmosis is the movement of water particles from an area of high concentration of water particles to an area of low concentration of water particles across a semi permeable membrane

Diffusion is the movement of particles from an area of high concentration of particles to an area of low concentration of particles across a partially permeable membrane

Plasmolysis is the shrinking of the cytoplasm if a plant cell in response to diffusion of water out of the cell and into a high salt concentration solution as the cell membrane would pull away from the cell wall
