1. The arrow labeled C represents a transfer of chemical energy to mechanical energy. Answer: true

In arrow C, the factory produces carbon which will be added to the atmosphere. Carbon produced by the factory is made from combustion/burning the fossil fuel. That means the factory using the chemical energy from fossil fuel. The combustion mostly used to move engine like cars, which is mechanical energy.

2. The arrow labeled A represents a transfer of solar energy to chemical energy. Answer: True

Photosynthesis is a reaction that will produce glucose, a compound with high chemical energy that used by the most organism. In photosynthesis, the reactant of the reaction is carbon dioxide, water, and energy. The energy is taken from the sunlight by the chloroplast.

3. Which arrow or arrows represent a release of carbon dioxide? What process is occurring at the arrow(s) you selected? Answer F and C

The process in F is done by already explained at answer number 1. In process C, the carbon is made by a living organism by cellular respiration. Cellular respiration is the reaction that breaks down glucose and oxygen to provide energy with some byproduct. One of the byproducts of the cellular respiration is carbon dioxide which will be released into the atmosphere.

4. Which arrow or arrows indicate a process that cycles carbon from living or nonliving organisms? Describe the process or processes you selected.

The cycle would be made by process C and E.
The process E happen when the organism dies and become a fossil. The organism could be a cow that eats grass(plants) that takes carbon from the atmosphere by doing photosynthesis.
The process in C happens when the factory (nonliving) using fossil fuel and produce carbon. The factory takes the fossil, use it as fuel, and return the carbon to the atmosphere.

5. Which arrow or arrows represent reactions that demonstrate a conservation of mass and energy? Explain your answer.
The process of photosynthesis and cellular respiration can represent the law of conservation of mass and energy. In photosynthesis, you need sunlight(arrow A), carbon dioxide(arrow B) and water. The process will produce glucose which can be used in cellular respiration.
In cellular respiration, the glucose will produce energy which was made from sunlight. It will also produce water and carbon dioxide that will be released back into the atmosphere (arrow F).

Un tractor tira de un remolque cargado sobre un camino plano libre de fricción, con una fuerza horizontal constante de 440 N. Si
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

1,6 m / s ^ 2

Explanation:

De las leyes de Newton;

Fuerza = masa × aceleración

masa = 275 kg

Fuerza = 440 N

Aceleración = Fuerza / masa

Aceleración = 440N / 275Kg

Aceleración = 1,6 m / s ^ 2

which of the following accurately pairs the cell part with its function? A. Smooth ER-assemble proteins B. Nucleus a produces en
tekilochka [14]

The most accurate answer is C.

The cytoskeleton is responsible for cell shape, motility (movement) and motility of organelles within a cell.

Unlike the human skeleton , the cytoskeleton is extremely dynamic, meaning the filaments that make up the cytoskeleton are able to shorten or lengthen very rapidly.

This dynamic nature is necessary for cells to be able to change shape, complete cell division, or migrate (move from one place to another).The cytoskeleton connects to every organelle and every part of the cell membrane.
