Answer:

Abiotic factors, such as temperature, water, sunlight amounts, and regional terrain, directly effect biotic factors. Biotic factors are the living components of an ecosystem which include primary producers, consumers, and dexomposers.

Abiotic factors can effect organisms in many ways. Hey can effect primary producers negatively if there is too little sun, water, or nutrients in the soil. However, if there is too much of any one of these, they can still be negatively effected. With primary producers, it’s all about balance.

while consumers do not directly require the above conditions, they do rely on the plants and animals that feed on said plants to survive. If the plants do not have correct nutrients, they will not either. As far as terrain goes, they adapt to better cope with the environment. If they live in an aquatic enviromment for example, they acquire ways to more efficiently move through the water to look for food.

Decomposers rely on the remains of dead plants and animals in order to survive. They feed off of dead matter and the waste gets deposited into the soil. This in turn helps to give the soil its nutrients, and so the cycle continues.

Everything in nature is reliant on each other. This delicate balancing act is both beautiful and so very fragile. If one organism is removed, the entire ecosystem could suffer. This is why it is so critical to protect the environment we share with every other living creature on this earth.

Answer:

1. C. Process one describes cloning and process two describe artificial selection

Through cloning a genetically identical individual is obtained from a single individual. Through artificial selection a hybrid between two individuals with desirable traits is obtained.

2. C. Polygenic

A trait that has a continuous variation has a polygenic inheritance pattern as it is controlled by multiple genes.

3. C. The BW mice would have black and white patches

Codominant genes will produce an individual with an intermediate phenotype as both alleles are simultaneously expressed in the heterozygote.

4. D. Polygenic

Polygenic inheritance occurs when two or more genes determine a trait that has a continuous variation. Each gene has a small effect, but all together have a cumulative effect. Examples of such patterns are height, sking color, eye color, weight etc.

• How does precipitation affect the topology of the earth?
prohojiy [21]

Answer: Global Climate Change. comes from precipitation. Too little precipitation can result in dry soil, shallow streams, and shortages of municipal water supplies. However, too much precipitation can also have a negative impact on human activities, business and industry, agriculture, and the environment. As moist air is forced up the windward slope it expands and cools, eventually causing water droplets to condense when the air is saturated. These droplets form clouds and grow to produce rain or snow that typically falls out on the windward side of the range. ... As air approaches the topography, it slows down.

Answer:

Faunal succession

cross-cutting relationships

superposition

Explanation:

Relative dating helps determine geological events by observing rocks.

Faunal succession is a method that uses sedimentary rocks for dating by observing the plant and animal fossils in them.

Cross-cutting relationships show that the layer that cuts across other layers are younger than the layers that they cut through.

Superposition states that younger layers are formed on top of the older layers. So if you are looking at the layers beneath the Earth, the ones that are in the bottom are older and as time pass younger layers form on top of them.
