Answer:

Skin cells having third degree burns are healed with skin graft because without graft the heal can become thick tissue of scar that can restrict the movement around that injured area. The injured area are on high risk of infection.

The injured area with grafting, allows blood vessels starts to grow from the tissue under the donor skin that bounds the two layers together.

There are majorly five types of skin grafts Allograft in which homograft donated for medical use from human cadaver skin; Xenograft is defined as the skin taken from other animals like pig; Autograft in which is skin from the same or injured person is taken to remove the wound; Sheet graft is also taken from an unburned area of the injured human body and the skin sheet is laid over the wound; and Meshed skin grafts, in which large donor skin is required to cover the large wound.

The skin graft helps by covering the wound and protecting it from fluid loss. it also aids in temperature regulation and helps prevent disease causing bacteria or viruses from entering the body.
