I think the answer is b, the reason I picked B is because she is trying to improve flexibility. A,C and D are helping with strength and B does not really help.

Weightlifting would not complement her current workout routine because she is working to improve her flexibility. By adding weightlifting to her routine she would only be increasing her strength and muscle mass.

How would an athlete’s vital capacity compare to a non-athlete?

Well, an athlete's vital capacity will be stronger and can withstand more movement and pressure. and a non- athlete's vital capacity will not change it will stay the same which is a little strong and a little week and it probably can't withstand movement and pressure.
