solution

we know the formula of distance from central bright spot that is

d = (m×λ×R) / y

here put all  value

m = 3 , λ1 = 520 × 10^{-9}, R = 1.6 and y = 0.011

so

d = (3× 520 × 10^{-9} × 1.6 ) / 0.011

so d = 226.90 × 10^{-6} m

and

y = (m×λ×R) / d

here put all  value

m = 2 , λ2 = 650 × 10^{-9}, R = 1.6 and d = 226.90×10^{-6}

so

y = (2× 650 × 10^{-9} × 1.6 ) / 226.90×10^{-6}

so y = 9.16 ×10^{-3} m
