There are 260 economic and 100 business.
there are 360 TOTAL seats, and the ratio of eco to business is 13:5, so lets suppose there are 13x eco and 5x business.
13x+5x=360
18x=360
x=20
so 13x=260 and 5x=100
there are 260 eco seats and 100 business seats.

Hello!

The first thing you want to do is add 13+5 which gives you 18. SO then you see how many times 18 goes into 360. Which gives you 20. So then you multiply 20 by 5 (because there are 5 business seats for every 13 and 18 went into 360 20 times, which gives you 100 business seats. Then you subtract 100 from 360 to see how many economy seats are left which gives you 260 economy seats. So there are 100 business seats and 260 economy seats.

I hope this helped!

A ball is thrown into the air. The height in feet of the ball can be modeled by the equation h = -16t2 + 20t + 6 where t is the
makkiz [27]

f(t)=h=-16t^2+20t+6

a=-16, b=20, c =6

Δ=b^2-4ac=20^2-4*(-16)*6=400+384=784

\sqrt{Δ}=\sqrt{784}=28

max:

p=-\frac{b}{2a}=-\frac{20}{-32}=\frac{20}{32}=\frac{5}{8}

max heigh: h=-16(\frac{5}{8})^2+20*\frac{5}{8}+6=-16\frac{25}{64}+\frac{100}{8}+6

h=-\frac{25}{4}+\frac{50}{4}+6=\frac{-25+50+24}{4}=\frac{49}{4}

h=\frac{49}{4} at t=\frac{5}{8}s

will fall down at t:

t=\frac{-20-28}{-32}=\frac{-48}{-32}=\frac{3}{2}=1.5

t=1.5s

Please do this for me <br><br> I am very lazy
Alexandra [31]

First, let's turn all the numbers into improper fractions so that we can find the answer easier.

-2 \frac{1}{4} = r - \frac{4}{5}

-\frac{9}{4} = r - \frac{4}{5}

Now we have to isolate 'r'.

First, we have to make sure that the variable is on one side and all the numbers are on the other side.

To do this, we have to add \frac{4}{5} to both sides.

In order to do this, we need to ensure that both fractions have a common denominator.

-\frac{9}{4} = r - \frac{4}{5}

Ensure that the denominators are the same:

\frac{45}{20} = r - \frac{16}{20}

\frac{45}{20} + \frac{16}{20} = r

\frac{61}{20} = r

Good luck!

We have that
2sin²<span>x - sinx - 3 = 0

Let
A------> sin x
so
2A²-A-3=0

using a graph tool-----> to resolve the second order equation
see the attached figure

the solutions are
A=-1
A=1.5------> is not solution because sin x <span>can not be 1.5

the solution is
A=-1
therefore
sin x=-1
x=arc sin(-1)=-90</span>°

the answer is
sin x=-1
x=-90° or 270°
