To get the Least Common Multiple (LCM) of 539 and 15 we need to factor each value first and then we choose all the factors which appear in any column and multiply them:

539:     771115:   35   LCM:   357711
The Least Common Multiple (LCM) is:   3 x 5 x 7 x 7 x 11 = 8085

I need help with finding the limit for problem #1. I've already solved 2-4 I just don't get the first one.
emmainna [20.7K]
Answer: 9

-------------------------------------------

Look at the graph of f(x). Locate x = 3 on the graph and move to the left of that location. If you get closer and closer to x = 3 from the left side, then you approach y = 3

Do the same for g(x) as well. If you approach x = 3 from the left, then you approach y = 3. It does not matter there is a discontinuity here as we're only worried about approaching x = 3 from the left and not actually getting to that specific x value.

We multiply those y values to get 3*3 = 9 as the answer

To get a 100 kilograms of a 48% fat content chocolate how many kilograms of a 30% and 50% mix should be used
wlad13 [49]
A kilogram %30 chocolate,
b kilogram %50 chocolate,
a+b = 100 kilogram chocolate,

48.(a+b) = 30.a + 50.b
48a + 48b = 30a + 50b
18a = 2b
b = 9a

a+b = a + 9a = 10a = 100 kg
a = 10 kg
b = 9.a = 90 kg

You should use,

10 kg %30 chocolate,
90 kg %50 chocolate
