Chest puller was a United States marine corps officer. He was born on June 26 1898 in West Point Virginia and cease to exist on October 11, 1971. His years of service were from 1918 to 1955. Puller remains a well-known figure in U.S. Marine Corps folklore, with both true and exaggerated tales of his experiences being constantly recounted among U.S. Marines.
