Step-by-step explanation:

we have y intercept -10

and slope 3

we know the equation of line in slope -intercept form

y=mx+b

where m is slope and b is y-intercept

so the final equation would be

y=3x-10

Write parametric equations of the line through the points (7,1,-5) and (3,4,-2). please use the first point as your base-point w
Roman55 [17]

Given:

A line through the points (7,1,-5) and (3,4,-2).

To find:

The parametric equations of the line.

Solution:

Direction vector for the points (7,1,-5) and (3,4,-2) is

\vec {v}=\left

\vec {v}=\left

\vec {v}=\left

Now, the perimetric equations for initial point (x_0,y_0,z_0) with direction vector \vec{v}=\left, are

x=x_0+at

y=y_0+bt

z=z_0+ct

The initial point is (7,1,-5) and direction vector is \vec {v}=\left. So the perimetric equations are

x=(7)+(-4)t

x=7-4t

Similarly,

y=1+3t

z=-5+3t

Therefore, the required perimetric equations are x=7-4t, y=1+3t and z=-5+3t.

Which are the solution of x2=-5x+8
yawa3891 [41]

rewrite the equation set = to 0.

x^2 + 5x - 8 = 0

The quadratic will not factor so you have to use the quadratic formula.

x = (-b + - sqrt(b^2 - 4ac))/2a

x = (5 + - sqrt(25 - 4* 1* -8))/2

x = (5 + - sqrt 57)/2

The x2is not the same as 2x. It is x^2. X tot he second power which makes the problem a quadratic equation. You cannot combine the terms x^2 and -5x because they so not have the same power.

I need help on this question plz
drek231 [11]

Given is triangle with base = 10 cm and perpendicular height = 3 cm.

We know the formula for area of triangle is given by :-

Area = \frac{1}{2} × (Base) × (perpendicular height)

Area = \frac{1}{2} × (10) × (3)

Area = \frac{30}{2}

Area = 15 cm²

So, final answer is 15 cm².
