Answer: Thus cost of concrete to pour the circular slab is <u><em>$ 94.25</em></u>

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Diameter of circular slab, d=18 ft

Thickness of slab , t= 3 inches = 0.25 ft

Rate of concrete , R = $40.00 per cubic yard

Volume of the slab , V=\frac{\pi d^{2}t}{4}=\frac{\pi \times 18^{2}\times 0.25}{4} ft^{3}=63.6 ft^{3}

Now 1 cubic yard = 27 cubic feet

Therefore volume , V=63.6 ft^{3}=\frac{63.6}{27}yard^{3}=2.356yard^{3}

=> cost of concrete , C=V\times R=\$ 2.356\times 40=\$ 94.25

Thus cost of concrete to pour the circular slab is <u><em>$ 94.25</em></u>

Doss [256]

Answer: 30 square inches.

Step-by-step explanation: Take the equation, V=(1/3)AH

For V=Volume, A=Area of base, and H=equals the height of the triangular pyramid.

We know the area of the base is 9, and the height is 10. So, multiply 10x9. You get 90.

Now, to get the v, you divide 90 by 3 to get 30. V=30.
