The parents are both heterozygous (Pp) the genotypic ratio is 1:2:1 (PP:Pp:pp) and the phenotypic ratio is 3:1 (PP&Pp:pp)

Answer:

a) Genotypes of the parents - Pp

b) Phenotypic ratio - 3:1

c) genotypic ration - 1:2:1

Explanation:

It is given that 28 purple and 10 white flowered plants are produced in first generation.

Thus, genotype of the parents could be

Pp X Pp

As only then offspring with genotype PP, Pp, Pp, pp will be produced.

Thus, the phenotypic ratio would 3:1 as PP, Pp Pp are purple flowered plant while pp is white flowered plant.

Genotypic ration would be PP:Pp:pp = 1:2:1

a) Genotypes of the parents - Pp

b) Phenotypic ratio - 3:1

c) genotypic ration - 1:2:1

Answer:

7) the environment is hypotonic because it is less concentrated than the inside of the cell

8.)the mass would decrease because the stuff inside the cell (which is more concentrated in comparison) would diffuse across the cell membrane into the environment in order to maintain equilibrium

9.) Diffusion in order to maintain equilibrium (moving things across a barrier from a more concentrated area to a less concentrated area in order to have an equal concentration on each side) does not require energy. However, moving matter out of the cell in Diagram C would require energy because it involves moving mass from a less concentrated area to a more concentrated area.

The filled-in squares of a Punnett square represent
goldfiish [28.3K]
The answer is B. even if you fill out a Punnett Square there is still a possibility that it won't come out that way. for example there could be two dominant traits in a Punnett square instead of just one completely dominant trait. like BB and BB.

Selective breeding of normal sheep with too much wool sheep.

Explanation:

Selective breeding can lead to some sheep overheating from having too much wool if the sheep of having more wool is crossed with normal wool so the offspring is produced with huge amount of wool on their body that keep its body warm in winter season and overheat in summer season. So the sheep shed their hairs in the summer season in order to reduce overheating of the body.
