In order to overlook someone's faults, it takes love and an understanding that you are not perfect.
When you love someone, you tend not to see that person's flaws, or even if you do see them, you believe those flaws are negligible. Once you understand that you yourself are not perfect (as any other human being), it will be easier for you to overlook someone else's faults.
