Ok as sqrt(x^6 + 5) approaches infinity it goes to x^3
Same with the denominator because x^3 is the highest power

On the bottom, the factor on x^3 is 4 so on the top to make the limit evaluate to 1/3, a has to be 16/9 so then when you neglect all of the other powers besides the highest, it goes to 4/3 because you take the square root and then it simplifies to 1/3

I'm struggling with this question i need help. please and thank you
soldi70 [24.7K]
The answer is 100X because if you do 5x-4x first it will be 1x. Later on, if you do the exponent you have 1x times 1x. Then you do 1x+9x = 10x

Then you do 10x times 10x because of the exponent is telling you how times you do it and it equals to 100x.

Answer= 100x

I hope this helps YOU!

A model of a building is 18 inches tall. If the building is really 678 feet tall, how tall is a window that is 1/9 in on the mod
ipn [44]

Answer:

50.2in or 4.2ft

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a problem about proportions so I generally set up my problems like below. I just set some variable here to make it easier to refer back to the measurements for each. You don't have to do this, I am just showing it for clarity. I will convert everything to inches too. We need to find the real window height.

Mb = model building = 18in

Mw= model window = \frac{1}{9}in

Rb = real building = 678ft = 8136in

Rw = real window = ?

\frac{Mw}{Mb} = \frac{Rw}{Rb}

\frac{1/9}{18} = \frac{Rw}{8136}

\frac{1}{9*18} = \frac{Rw}{8136}

\frac{1}{162} = \frac{Rw}{8136}

\frac{1*8136}{162}= \frac{8136*Rw}{8136}

\frac{8136}{162} = Rw

\frac{452}{9} = Rw

Rw ≈ 50.2in ≈ 4.2ft

If f(x) = 9x – 8, which of the following is the inverse of f(x)?
zheka24 [161]

Answer: f^{-1} (x) = \frac{x+8}{9}

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = 9x - 8 , to find the inverse of f(x) , replace f(x) with y , then the equation becomes

y = 9x - 8 , then make x , the subject of the formula ,

9x = y + 8

x = \frac{y+8}{9}

Finally , replace x , with f^{-1} (x) and y with x  , so we have

f^{-1} (x) = \frac{x+8}{9}
