Ok as sqrt(x^6 + 5) approaches infinity it goes to x^3
Same with the denominator because x^3 is the highest power

On the bottom, the factor on x^3 is 4 so on the top to make the limit evaluate to 1/3, a has to be 16/9 so then when you neglect all of the other powers besides the highest, it goes to 4/3 because you take the square root and then it simplifies to 1/3

yanalaym [24]

Answer:

The equation is m(n) = 24(0.75)^{n}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the exponential function is m(n) = a(b)^{n}, where m is the angle of the swing forward and n is the number of swings.

Here, a and b are constants.

Now, for n = 1, m = 18 degrees and for n = 2, m = 13.5 degrees.

Therefore, the two equations that we can write are :

18 = a(b)^{1} = ab ............. (1) and

13.5 = a(b)^{2} ................. (2)

Now, solving the above two equations we get,

\frac{ab^{2} }{ab} = \frac{13.5}{18} = 0.75

⇒ b = 0.75

So, from equation (1) we get, a = \frac{18}{0.75} = 24

Therefore, the equation is m(n) = 24(0.75)^{n} (Answer)

If the length is 7 more than 4 times the width of a rectangle and the perimeter is 74mm, what are the dimensions?
kogti [31]
-----------------------------------------------
Define x :
-----------------------------------------------
Let the width be x
Width = x
Length = 4x + 7

-----------------------------------------------
Formula :
-----------------------------------------------
Perimeter = 2 (Length + Width)

Perimeter = 74
2(4x + 7 + x) = 74       // sub length and width into the equation
2(5x + 7) = 74             // combine like terms
10x + 14 = 74              // Apply distributive property
10x = 60                      // Take away 14 from both sides
x = 6                            // Divide by 10 on both sides

-----------------------------------------------
Find Length and Width :
-----------------------------------------------
Width = x = 6mm
Length = 4x + 7 = 4(6) + 7 = 31mm

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Answer: The length is 31mm and its width 6mm.
