1. For the reaction 3A — C, the initial concentration of A was 0.2 M, and the reaction rate was
Andrew [12]

Answer:

r=25M^{-1}s^{-1}[A]^2

Explanation:

Hello there!

In this case, according to the given information for this chemical reaction, it is possible for us to set up the following general rate law and the ratio of the initial and the final (doubled concentration) condition:

r=k[A]^n\\\\\frac{r_1}{r_2} =\frac{k[A]_1^n}{k[A]_2^n}

Next, we plug in the given concentrations of A, 0.2M and 0.4 M, the rates, 1.0 M/s and 4.0 M/s and cancel out the rate constants as they are the same, in order to obtain the following:

\frac{1.0}{4.0} =\frac{0.2^n}{0.4^n}\\\\0.25=0.5^n\\\\n=\frac{ln(0.25)}{ln(0.5)} \\\\n=2

Which means this reaction is second-order with respect to A. Finally, we calculate the rate constant by using n, [A] and r, to obtain:

k=\frac{r}{[A]^n} =\frac{1.0M/s}{(0.2M)^2}\\\\k=25M^{-1}s^{-1}

Thus, the rate law turns out to be:

r=25M^{-1}s^{-1}[A]^2

Regards!

(Pleaseeee help me) List 3 things you should talk about in a good conclusion?
melamori03 [73]
1) It recaps where you’ve been.
Throughout your essay, you’ve shared experiences, skills and knowledge that have driven you toward who you are today. In your conclusion, remind the admissions team about how all those different elements work in combination to make you a unique candidate for their program.
2) It recaps where you are.
This is an aspect applicants often forget to include. You are at a crucial junction between the past and the future, and this program you’re applying to is the bridge. Recap why this program is an important stepping stone in your career path and how it’s a good fit for you personally.
3) It recaps where you are going.
Most importantly, you must tell the admissions team what your long-term career goal is. The more specific you can be, the better (even if you aren’t 100% sure, it’s best to come off as confident that you know what you want!). For example, rather than just recapping that you want to become a doctor, you can share additional sub-goals, such as wanting to be a doctor who works in low-income, inner city hospitals since you volunteered at those types of facilities before. Or perhaps you plan to go back to the country where you grew up and work as a surgeon there since they are in such short supply.
Bring It Together
Once we bring all three of those elements together, you can see how they link together to form one, solid conclusion. Ideally, your conclusion should be about 4-6 sentences long — not too short but not a long ramble. Below is an example showing how fusing the past (1), present (2) and future (3) together can end your essay on a strong note.

Chemical barriers include? mucous food hydrochloric acid sweat
mr Goodwill [35]

Enzymes that eventually break down the surface of bacteria are found in saliva, mucus, and tears, which act as chemical barriers against infection.

Enzymes found in saliva, mucous, as well as tears that degrade bacterial surfaces serve as chemical barriers preventing infection. The stomach's acid as well as the acid in sweat both destroy cellular pathogens, and even the semen contains antibacterial proteins.

There is no chemical and physical barrier offered by macrophages. Instead of acting as a barrier, macrophages target pathogens once they have already entered the body. Physical barriers include mucus as well as stratified squamous epithelium, whereas chemical barriers include saliva and urine.

Therefore, Enzymes that eventually break down the surface of bacteria are found in saliva, mucus, and tears, which act as chemical barriers against infection.
