to answer the surface area for a cylinder you need to do 2 times 3.14 (pi) times the radius times the height. once you have that answer you need to do 2 times pi times the radius squared. then after you get both of those answers you add them together

Please help with number 17! Urgent! PLEASE! Also please show work:) 25 points!
Tcecarenko [31]
First you would change the time from minutes to seconds by multiplying 4 by 60 because there are 60 seconds in a minute. After finding that (4*60=240) you would subtract the remaining time (12 seconds) from the total time (240 seconds). You would subtract the remaining time from the total time (228 seconds). Using that you would use the ratio time used/total (228/240). Divide that out and multiply by 100 to get 95%. I hope that helps!

In “modeling with linear equations” how do i solve<br><br> -11-8x=-3x+19
user100 [1]

Answer:

x = -6

Step-by-step explanation:

-11 - 8x = -3x + 19 (Move constants to right side)

-8x = -3x + 19 + 11 (Move x to left side)

3x - 8x = 30 (simplify)

-5x = 30 (divide both sides by -5)

x = -6

Which points are 4 units apart?
xz_007 [3.2K]

The points that are 4 units apart are B and D

<h3>Complete question</h3>

Which points are 4 units apart? On a coordinate plane, point A is at (-2, 4), point B is at (3, -6), point C is at (-1, 0), point D is at (3, -2).

B and C

C and D

A and C

B and D

<h3>How to determine the points?</h3>

To do this, we simply calculate the distance using the following equation

d = \sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2 + (y_2-y_1)^2

Using the given points, we have:

BC = \sqrt{(3+ 1)^2 + (-6 -0)^2} = 7.2

CD = \sqrt{(-1 - 3)^2 + (0 +2)^2} = 4.5

AC = \sqrt{(-2 + 1)^2 + (4 -0)^2} = 4.1

BD = \sqrt{(3 - 3)^2 + (-6 +2)^2} = 4

Hence, the points that are 4 units apart are B and D

What is the distance between (22,-3) and (1, -3)?
Bingel [31]

Answer:

Option D

Step-by-step explanation:

<h2>Distance between two points</h2>

The y-value of the two points is unchanged. So, the line is parralel to x-axis.

The distance will be the diffrence between the x-co ordinates.

\sf Distance = 1 - (-2\dfrac{1}{2})

             \sf =1+\dfrac{5}{2}\\\\= \dfrac{2}{2}+\dfrac{5}{2}\\\\=\dfrac{7}{2}\\\\=3\dfrac{1}{2}
