The figure is attached below.

All the shaded squares are the same size and all th shaded triangles are the same size.

First we find the Area of shaded square

Side of shaded square = 3 in

Area of shaded square = side * side = 3 * 3 = 9 square inches

There are 5 shaded square so we multiply the area by 5

Total area of shaded square = 9 * 5 = 45 square inches

Next First we find the Area of shaded triangle

Base of shaded triangle = 6 in

Height of shaded triangle = 6 in

Area of shaded triangle = \frac{1}{2}  * base * height = \frac{1}{2} * 6 * 6 = 18 square inches

There are 4 shaded triangles so we multiply the area by 4

Total area of shaded triangle = 18 * 4= 72 square inches

total area of all the shaded pieces of the quilt block = area of shaded triangle + area of shaded square

Total area = 45 + 72 = 117 square inches

What is the reciprocal of 0.025 (not -0.025)
DochEvi [55]

Answer:

1000/25 or 40

Step-by-step explanation:

~ A reciprocal is the fraction's reverse

For example 2/3=3/2

.025 is also 25/1000

The reverse of 25/1000 is 1000/25

Simplified into 40 wholes

15t + <35> j  (price * count sold)

Cost = <4.5>t + 5 j + 150

Profilt = Revenue - Cost = (15t + <35>j) - (<4.5>t + 5j + 150)

= 15t + <35>j - <4.5>t < - >5j - 150
= 50t - -9.5j  - 150

I need help with this one too I’m marking brilliant
alukav5142 [94]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

For this problem, I basically solved each equation until it agreed with the sequence.

It's not A or C because when you plug in 1, the number doesn't equal 3.

a = 2(-3)¹⁻¹ = 2(-3)⁰ = 2(1) = 0

a = 3(-2)¹ = -6

It's not D because when you plug in 2, the number doesn't equal -6.

a = 3(2)²⁻¹ = 3(2)¹ = 6
