The difficult economic situation and the great depression emerged in Europe, as well as in Italy and Germany, as one of the most suitable factors for the strengthening of totalitarianism. Poor economic situations caused by large debt, war damages, and inadequate and poor economic production, have enabled Mussolini and Hitler to take advantage of the Great Depression period to launch the production of weapons. Thus, they achieved the goal of launching the economy and implementing totalitarian ideas as the "savior" of the nation.
