The authors of our text state: "We have 40 years of data across multiple studies that confirm the positive correlation between t

aking a course in critical thinking and improvements in the students' pretest to post-test critical thinking skills scores. It would be a mistake, therefore, all things being equal, to say that growth in critical thinking and taking a course in critical thinking are unrelated" (p. 290). The null hypothesis is false. Does that mean, therefore, that taking a critical thinking course causes students to become more skilled at critical thinking and more motivated to use those skills? Explain your answer.

Answer:

Yes

Explanation:

It is true that taking a critical thinking course causes students to become more skilled at critical thinking and more motivated to use those skills.

Critical thinkig might be an in born quality in some people but it can definitely be developed and enhanced as well and that is only possible through practicing and application of critical thinking. The more one's mind focus on something, the more better it gets into it.

To support this, one can have some ranking before the practice and then a post evaluation. The difference in two tests would yeild the improvement done. But if a person is not practicing something, it is difficult that he can get better on that

Answer: Constitutionalism

Explanation:

Constitutionalism is a doctrine based on the idea that the government’s power is defined by a body of laws.

The Rule of Law establishes that nobody is above the law.

The separation of powers among the legislative branch that makes the laws, the executive branch that applies and enforces them, and the judicial branch that interprets the law. The checks and balances system allows each branch to restrict other branches to deter any abuse of power.

Answer:

his perception

Explanation:

Perception in psychology may be defined as the mental impressions or an understanding of a person about the judgement of others. It is the understanding of the sensory information.

In the context, Edgar who is being challenged by his team members on the new software that he had recently reviewed feels that his team members are making excuses of being lazy and are disagreeing with his ideas for comments on the new software. Thus his judgement about his team members are being influenced by his perception.
