Born in Salzburg Germany in 1756 and  Mozart showed exceptional musical talent as a child and was recognized as a child prodigy. His father, a composer and violinist in the Arch-bishop’s service, recognized his son’s innate musical talent when he was giving Mozart’s sister keyboard lessons while Mozart observed.

He began mimicking her playing and showed a strong understanding of the chords, tonality, and tempo and was soon also being taught by his father. By age three his perfect pitch was recognized, at age five he was a talented harpsichord player, and at age six he was composing. At that age, he toured Europe allowed and was exposed to many different cultures and musical styles.
