Answer:

4x-43

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we have to simplify the expression 7(x – 4) – 3(x + 5)

In order to do so we first open the two brackets using distributive laws.

7(x – 4) – 3(x + 5)= 7*x-7*4-3*x-3*5

= 7x-28-3x-15

Now we bring the terms containing the x together and the terms not containing x together

= 7x-3x-28-15

we simplify them

= 4x-43

Hence

7(x – 4) – 3(x + 5)=4x-43 is the simplified expression

Annette [7]

Answer:

70%

Step-by-step explanation:

Step one:

given data

we are told that the number of people under the survey is 3000

and also that 2100 people would like to buy again, these 2100 people represent the number of people who are satisfied with the type of car.

Step two:

Therefore the percentage of this number related to the total people under the survey is given below

=2100/3000*100

=21//30*100

=7/10*100

=7*10

=70%

Hence 70% of the people surveyed are satisfied with the type of car

sweet-ann [11.9K]
Charging: +2/min percentage points.
Using: -5/min percentage points.
Amount of time Famke used her phone: x
Amount of time Famke charge her phone: 2x
Famke gained 2x*(2/min)=x*(4/min) percentage points.
Over this period her phone lost 10 percentage points→
x*(5/min)-x*(4/min)=10⇒x*(1/min)=10
x=10

This means that she used her phone for 10 minutes and charged it for 20 minutes.
