How would I solve this?
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

3(6)-1

----------------

2(6)+1

Step-by-step explanation:

r(x) = 3x-1

s(x) = 2x+1

r(6) / s(6)

r(6) = 3(6)-1

s(6) = 2(6)+1

Putting r(6)/ s(6)

3(6)-1

----------------

2(6)+1

Suppose that y varies inversely with x. Write an equation for the inverse variation. y = 2 when x = 5
Colt1911 [192]
Inverse means 1 over the other so y=1/x, we are given that y=2 when x=5 so our equation turns into 2=/=1/5, these things do not equal so we have to add a coefficient to the right to make this statement true. I would select 10, so that it becomes y=10/x, when the values are plugged in it becomes 2=10/5 or 2=2.
