The picture shows protein being formed.

The picture is an illustration of how polypeptide bonds are formed between the amino acid molecules to form a macromolecule known as protein.

Proteins are polymers of amino acids. Two or more amino acids must condense together in order for a protein to be formed. In order for this to happen, the carboxylic group of an amino acid reacts with the amine group  of another amino acid. Thus, the 2 amino groups become linked and water is eliminated.

Electrons

Explanation:

Static charges can be applied to neutral objects by friction, induction and conduction using electrons to create the charge.

Every material is made up of atoms. They contain protons, neutrons and electrons.

Neutrons and protons are tightly packed in the nucleus but electrons occupy the bulk volume of that atom.

When friction, induction and conduction sets it, the electrons are disturbed. There may be loss or gain of electrons. Also, conduction may occur in atom as current is passed through.

Electrons are the harbinger of static charges.
