Answer:

See image attached

Step-by-step explanation:

I've overlaid answers on boxes where I found a mistake. The third column is not checked because I could not read the scales (resolution too low), however, from my correction you should be able to check the third column easily. If you have any questions please post them in the comments.

Based on the diagram, which expresses all possible lengths of segment AB? AB = 25 27 < AB < 81 AB = 85 AB< 27 or AB &gt
Thepotemich [5.8K]
The answer

according to the figure, we can solve this problem only by applying sines rule:
that is
sinA/a  = sinB/b = sinC /c

As we observe,  sin A /54  = sin B/27 = sin C/ c, and c = AB

besides, sinC > sinB > sinA  , so the only answer possible is
<span>27 < AB < 81</span>

What is the slope formula of (4,2) and (7, 6.5)
Lady_Fox [76]

Suppose the given coordinates are represented as,

\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_1)=(4,2) \\ (x_2,y_2)=(7,6.5) \end{gathered}

Then, the formula for slope can be expressed as,

\begin{gathered} m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} \\ m=\frac{6.5-2}{7-4} \end{gathered}

Solving it,

m=\frac{4.5}{3}=1.5

The slope is 1.5.

The formula of (10, 8) anjd (-5,8) is

m=\frac{8-8}{-5-10}

Identify the axis of symmetry and vertex of f(x) = –2x2 –2x–1.
Leya [2.2K]

<span>Given the quadratic equation: f(x) = -2x^2 - 2x - 1, the axis of symmetry can be obtained by finding the line that divides the function into two congruent or identical halves. Thus, it should pass through the vertex and is equal to the x-coordinate of the vertex. </span>

<span>Note that a quadratic equation in standard form: y = ax^2 + bx + c, has the vertex located at (h,k) where, h = -b/2a and k is determined by evaluating y at h. In this case, a = -2, b = -2, thus, h = -0.5, k = 0.5. Thus, the vertex is located at (-0.5, 0.5) and the axis of symmetry is at x = -0.5. </span>
