Answer:

Primary succession:

This succession may be defined as the change in the biological community of the species on the barren land. The pioneer species is lichen. This succession is slow and takes more time to develop into a climax community.

Secondary succession:

This succession may be defined as the succession on the land that has been destroyed by the natural or human calamity. The remains of the earlier plant or spores may acts as the pioneer species. This succession is fast and takes less time to develop into a climax community.

Today, many millions of people live close to volcanoes for this very reason. What is the job of an enzyme
STALIN [3.7K]

Enzymes have different jobs around the body that are very vital to help the body live. For example they help with digestion, aiding or healing the body, and metabolism. But the main job of the enzyme is to "aid the body" what I mean is if you get cut and you start to bleed it's the enzyme job to get to the wound and help heal it and stop the bleeding. Without the enzyme the body wouldn't be able to last forever.

Hope this helps!

Genetic variations are the raw material for evolution. natural selection cannot act upon these variations unless which factor is
Novosadov [1.4K]
I believe it is D. the genetic variations are in the phenotype of the organism. The reason why I say this is because the phenotype is the physically noticeable characteristics in an organism, this allows them to mutate differently and only the ones who are fit enough and have the best phenotypes will survive.
