The goal of all intervention is to<span> assist in the transformation of the </span>conflict<span> elements in the following ways: Changing the parties' expression of </span>conflict<span>, changing parties' perceptions of </span>goals<span> so they are not seen as incompatible, and/or modifying the actual or perceived scarcity of resources.</span>
