Answer:

resolution is the minimum value of measurement of any measuring device. It is said to be the most important feature of any measuring device.

For any device to have a good resolution, the device should have high accuracy and high precision.

Explanation:

Accuracy is the amount of uncertainty in the measurement of the parameters with respect to a absolute standard value. Accuracy also takes the account of error in the measurement. it can simply be regarded as the efficiency of the measurements and readings being taken.

Precision is the random spread of measured value around the average measured value. precision describes the ability to reproduce the measurement.

How is the electrical conductivity of a metal explained by metallic bonds.
love history [14]

Answer:

Metallic bonding is the bond that exist between the atoms. The electrons do not only flow at its respective atoms but instead, contribute to a sea of delocalised electrons. As a result, metals can conduct electricity as the delocalised electrons are able to carry charges.

Two pucks collide with each other. after the collision they do not stick together. is kinetic energy conserved in the collision?
miv72 [106K]
Since they do not stick after collision hence collision is elastic. In elastic collision, both momentum and kinetic energy is conserved because in this type of collision, first body deforms but then quickly regains its former shape and transfers its kinetic energy to the second pluck.
So kinetic energy is conserved.

Why did Galileo use a thought experiment instead of working with real objects
Alja [10]

Answer:

Galileo thought that a ball, rolling or sliding down a hill without friction, would run up to the same height on an opposite hill.

Suppose that the opposite hill was horizontal. Would the ball's motion continue forever along the tangent, or forever parallel to the Earth's surface

Galileo's conclusion from this thought experiment was that no force is needed to keep an object moving with constant velocity.

Newton took this as his first law of motion.
