Answer:

The oxygenated blood enters into the heart by pulmonary veins into the left auricle, then the left ventricle. Then this RBC enters the aortic valve and moves upward.

It enters the aorta and from the aorta to aortic vessels. From aortic vessels, the blood goes to descending aorta. This supplies RBC to different tissue parts.

From descending aorta the blood flows to iliac arteries which are further branched into several arteries, which supply blood to lower part of the body i.e. legs, pelvis.

The subclavian artery provides blood to hands and shoulders, hands. Left and right carotid arteries supply blood to the brain from the heart.

Anton van Leeuwenhoek is a scientist who saw cells soon after Hooke did. He made use of a microscope containing improved lenses
NeX [460]

Answer: Leeuwenhoek biggest contribution is to the first tenet of the cell theory.

Explanation: the first tenet of cell theory states that every living being is made of cells and even an organism can be made of just one cell able to reproduce by itself.

Leeuwenhoek observations stablish the existence of microscopic structures alive some with movement. This helped other scientists to determinate this structures were cells that can make vital processes such as feeding, breathing or reproducing which are determinant in biological definition of life.

True [87]
Organisms that reproduce asexually have less chances for genetic mutation and genetic drift, meaning that if something is introduced into the environment that causes the organism to be unable to survive, it wont have a variation that might make it possible to live.

From approximately 240 to 66 million years ago, dinosaurs dominated most of the land habitats on Earth. Around 66 million years
Harlamova29_29 [7]

The correct answer is option C, that is, mammals were able to diversify to make use of the variety of habitats that were previously occupied by dinosaurs.

Adaptive radiation refers to the comparatively fast evolution of various species from a single common ancestor. Adaptive radiation usually takes place when a species enters a novel area and distinct traits influence its existence. An illustration of adaptive radiation is the progression of mammals after the annihilation of dinosaurs.

How does cystic fibrosis affect meiosis?
Anna007 [38]

Answer:

The defective CFTR protein changes ion influx and efflux across the body's cell membranes, which ultimately changes the internal environment of these cells. This change contributes to each cell's production of proteins through transcription and translation.
