Answer:

By ruling gently with religious tolerance new areas were easier to conquer with least resistance.

Explanation:

The Ottoman empire conquered vast expanses of territory. However, they usually did so while preaching religious tolerance. Far form affecting their results, this made their conquests more efficient. People were more willing to listen to them, and accept them, than they would have been otherwise. Moreover, they were also more willing to adopt some elements of Islamic culture and values, which made cultural diffusion more effective.

SHORT ESSAY: When referencing the Atlantic Slave Trade, Colonization,
nevsk [136]

Answer: The exploration of North and South America led to their colonization. The explorers of these continents saw the native people  ( in South America it was the Incans, Mayans, and Aztecs. IN the north, it was the Native Americans) as below them in terms of intelligence and religion. After learning about their culture and their knowledge of native foura and fauna, they enslaved the native indegionous people. The land in the Americas were fresh with new plants and animals, minerals, and other goods. The conquerers enslaved and fought these people, then in some cases, sold them to other people. In the Africas, the natives there were continously rounded up and sold in the Atlantic Slave Trade.

Winfield Scott's Address To The Cherokee Nation
Karolina [17]

He refers to his subordinate statement, he did not take the decisions, he only obeyed them. The moral implications of the policies of President Van Buren (and his predecessor Andrew Jackson) did not make those orders easy. But as a subordinate and not popularly elected, I had to obey them. Finding the best conditions for the Cherokee people was all he could do. In his instructions to the militia, he reminded them that any act of cruelty would become "an aberration to the generous sympathies of the American people" (many of whom, like John Quincy Adams, were against the transfer, blaming Southern politicians and the land usurpers ").

I am too lazy to research but other than Abraham Lincoln, how come no presidents before him ended slavery?
lianna [129]

Answer:

Mainly due to the social norms of the time but another reason why Abraham did free the slaves unlike any others was the fact of industrialization in the North where slavery was becoming unpopular and not needed and was seen as a set back. Abraham also decided to free slaves after the war or until he had a definite victory over the South so when Abraham did free them the South couldn't recover.
