Answer:

The power of the purse is the ability of one group to manipulate and control the actions of another group by withholding funding, or putting stipulations on the use of funds. The power of the purse can be used positively (e.g. awarding extra funding to programs that reach certain benchmarks) or negatively (e.g. removing funding for a department or program, effectively eliminating it). The power of the purse is most often utilized by forces within a government that do not have direct executive power, but have control over budgets and taxation.

A citizen's responsibilities include speaking up when things aren't right such as against abuse of women, against racism, or to denounce unjust jailings such as against the Cuban 5 and against discrimination against people with mental and developmental disabilities. All these things help protect others against human rights violations.

Answer:

I believe it's calm and friendly.

Explanation:

The first Maya encountered by Europeans in the early sixteenth century were exceedingly warlike, but by the 1940s the earlier Classic Maya (AD 250–1000) were widely perceived as an inordinately peaceful civilization. Today, in sharp contrast, conflict is seen as integral to Maya society throughout its history.
