You need to break this into smaller shapes. This shape consists of 4 smaller shapes: 3 triangles and 1 rectangle.

Formulas:
Triangle: A = 1/2 bh
Rectangle: A= bh

Let's start with the triangle on top with the points B, C and D.
Base = 6
Height = 3

A = 1/2 (6)(3)
Multiply base by height
A = 1/2 (18)
Multiply.
A= 9

The triangle on the left:
Base= 4
Height = 4

A= 1/2 (4)(4)
A= 1/2 (16)
A= 8

The triangle on the right:
Base= 2
Height= 4

A= 1/2 (2)(4)
A= 1/2 (8)
A= 4

The rectangle in the middle:
Base= 6
Height=4

A= (6)(4)
A= 24

Now add all the areas together:
9 + 8 + 4 + 24 = 45 cm²

Hope this helps! :)

What is the range of the function g(x) = 3x^2 - 6x + 3 when the domain is defined as the set of integers, x, such that 0<=x&l
kakasveta [241]

Answer:

Range is  3 <= g(x) <= 27.

Step-by-step explanation:

The range  is the values of g(x) for the given domain.

When x = 0 g(x) = 3(0)^2 - 6(0) + 3 = 3.

When x = 4 g(x) = 3(4)^2 - 6(4) + 3 =  27.

allsm [11]

Answer:

32

Step-by-step explanation:

In a full factorial experiment, there are usually 32 or 2⁵ treatments. This implies that there are usually  2 levels and 5 factors. From the description below, there is a list of the 32 treatments.

1 Which of the following could be the sides of a right triangle? Check all that apply. A. 10, 24, 26 B. 4, 5, 9 C. 18, 24, 30
kompoz [17]

Answer:

A and C

Step-by-step explanation:

Let Triangle ABC is a right angle traingle.

From Option A

AB= 24, BC= 26 and AC=10

By Pythagorean Triplet

(AB)^2 + (AC)^2 = (24)^2 + (10)^2

= 576+100

(AB)^2 + (AC)^2 = 676 ---------------- (I)

(BC)^2 = 26^2 = 676 -------------------(ii)

From (I) and (ii)

(BC)^2 = (AB)^2 + (AC)^2

Therefore, the sides 10,24 and 26 are the sides of the right angle triangle.

From Option C

AB= 18, BC= 30 and AC=24

By Pythagorean Triplet

(AB)^2 + (AC)^2 = (18)^2 + (24)^2

= 324+576

(AB)^2 + (AC)^2 = 900---------------- (I)

(BC)^2 = 30^2 = 900 -------------------(ii)

From (I) and (ii)

(BC)^2 = (AB)^2 + (AC)^2

Therefore, the sides 18, 24 and 30 are the sides of the right angle triangle.

ipn [44]

Answer:

circumference = 301.44

area =7,234.56

Step-by-step explanation:

The circumference of a circle can be found by multiplying pi ( π = 3.14 ) by the diameter of the circle.

96 x 3.14 = 301.44

area = 3.14r^2

radius = d/2

radius = 48

3.14(48^2)

area =7,234.56
