A landslide or mudslide is a natural disaster which occurs because of the movement of soil, rocks and sediments down the slopes due to the effect of gravitational force acting on these materials. A volcanic eruption in a hilly or mountain region can cause volcanic landslides or mudslides. As, the hot lava flows out the eruption which also displaces off the heavy rocks and soil particles down the slope. These volcanic landslides are threat to human lives.
