In Marissa's Calculus course, attendance counts for 5% of the grade, quizzes count for 10% of the grade, exams count for 60% of

the grade, and the final exam counts for 25% of the grade. Marissa had 100% average for attendance, 93% for quizzes, 86% for exams, and 85% on the final exam. Determine Marissa's course average.

Attendence counts : 5% value × 100% ( Marissa grade ) = 5%

Quizzes: 10% value × 93% ( Marissa grade )
= 9.3%

Exams : 60% value × 86% ( Marissa grade )
= 49.6%

Final Exam : 25% value × 85% ( Marissa grade)
= 21.25%

Add all the grades:
5 + 9.3 + 49.6 + 21.25 = 85.15

Marrissa's average grade is 85.15%

I hope you understood my brief explanation. And please consider marking this awnser as Branliest if you think it deserves it. Thank you :) !

56 = −8d + 8 there's not multiple answers
ollegr [7]

Answer:

d= -6

Step-by-step explanation:

56 = -8d + 8

1) You want to get d by itself. Subtract 8 from both sides.

56 = -8d + 8

- 8           - 8

<em>(8 - 8 = 0, and 56 - 8 is 48.)</em>

48 = -8d

2) Then, you divide my -8 on both sides.

(<em>48 / -8 is -6, and -8d / -8 is just d.)</em>

-6 = d

So, d = -6

$1500 is invested at a rate of 3% compounded monthly. Write a compound interest function to model this situation. Then find the
Marianna [84]

Answer:

<u>Equation</u>:  F=1500(1.0025)^{12t}

<u>The balance after 5 years is:  $1742.43</u>

<u></u>

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a compound growth problem . THe formula is:

F=P(1+\frac{r}{n})^{nt}

Where

F is future amount

P is present amount

r is rate of interest, annually

n is the number of compounding per year

t is the time in years

Given:

P = 1500

r = 0.03

n = 12 (compounded monthly means 12 times a year)

The compound interest formula modelled by the variables is:

F=1500(1+\frac{0.03}{12})^{12t}\\F=1500(1.0025)^{12t}

Now, we want balance after 5 years, so t = 5, substituting, we get:

F=1500(1.0025)^{12t}\\F=1500(1.0025)^{12*5}\\F=1500(1.0025)^{60}\\F=1742.43

<u>The balance after 5 years is:  $1742.43</u>
