Molecular mass of NH3= 14 x 1 + 3 x 1 = 17 gram

Molecular mass of NO = 14 x 1 + 16 x 1 = 30 gram

From the balanced equation for the reaction,

4 NH3 will give 4 NO.

∴ 4 x 17 grams of NH3 will give 4 x 30 gram of NO

88.9 grams of NH3 will give (4 x 30) x ( 88.9 ) / ( 4 x 17)

= 156.88 gram
