Ke=.5MV^2
3600=.5(50 kg) v^2

Sqrt(3600/.5(50kg))=v

Velocity = 12 m/s

w strong are you? Could you turn a moving car with just your own strength? No way! If a normal driver inputs about 50 N of force
malfutka [58]

The mechanical advantage of a simple machine is the measure of its amplified force gain.

The mechanical advantage  is defined as the force amplified by a machine to the force required to generate such output.

Mathematically\ mechanical\ advantage\ MA=\frac{F_{o}} {F_{i}}

F_{o} \ and\ F_{i} are the amplified force and applied force. We may also consider them as output and input force.

In the given question, the force given to the steering wheel is 50 N.

The output force produced by the steering wheel is 3750 N.

Hence the mechanical advantage will be-

                               MA=\frac{F_{o}} {F_{i}}

                                       =\frac{3750\ N}{50\ N}

                                       =75      [ans]

A cylindrical metal specimen having an original diameter of 11.77 mm and gauge length of 46.1 mm is pulled in tension until frac
Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

% reduction in area = 54.26 %

percentage elongation = 43.16 %

Explanation:

a) percentage reduction in area = \frac{(A_1 - A_2)}{A_1 } * 100

A_1  =\pi r^2 = \pi * 5.88^2=108.8 mm2

A_2=\pi * 3.98^2= 49.97 mm2

% reduction in area =\frac{(108.8 - 49.97)}{108.8} * 100 = 54.26 %

b)percentage elongation = \frac{(66 - 46.1)}{46.1} *100 = 43.16 %

what will be the focal lenght of a combined lens made by contact of two lenses of power +3D and -2D.
4vir4ik [10]
  • P_1=+3D
  • P_2=-2D

\\ \bull\tt\dashrightarrow P=P_1+P_2

\\ \bull\tt\dashrightarrow P=+3D-2D=+1D

Now

\\ \bull\tt\dashrightarrow f=\dfrac{1}{P}

\\ \bull\tt\dashrightarrow f=\dfrac{1}{1}

\\ \bull\tt\dashrightarrow f=1m

A flying saucer lifts the Physical Science building 10,000 ft into the air before discovering it is useless and discards the rem
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

500000000 lbft/s

Explanation:

F = Force or weight = 1000000 lbf

s = Displacement = 10000 ft

t = Time taken = 20 seconds

Work done is given by

W=Fs\\\Rightarrow W=1000000\times 10000\\\Rightarrow W=10000000000\ lb-ft

Power is given by

P=\dfrac{W}{t}\\\Rightarrow P=\dfrac{10000000000}{20}\\\Rightarrow P=500000000\ lbft/s

One Saucer power is 500000000 lbft/s
