Tina is looking out a window and throws marble straight downward toward the sidewalk below at a speed of 5.00 m/s and the window

is 39.0 meters above the sidewalk. Answer the two questions below, using three significant digits. Part A: What is the speed of the ball (11) when it hits the ground? Number m/s (Remember: enter a magnitude.) Part B: After 1.90 s, how far down has the marble travelled?

Answer:

a) 28.1 m/s

b) 27.2 m

Explanation:

a)

Consider the motion of the marble in downward direction taking down direction as positive

v₀ = initial velocity = 5 m/s

v = final velocity as it hits the ground = ?

a = acceleration = 9.8 m/s²

d = vertical height traveled = 39 m

Using the equation

v² = v₀² + 2 a d

v² = 5² + 2 (9.8) (39)

v = 28.1 m/s

b)

t = time of travel = 1.90 s

y = vertical distance traveled

Using the equation

y = v₀ t + (0.5) a t²

y = (5)(1.90) + (0.5) (9.8) (1.90)²

y = 27.2 m

It's ' D '.

-- Period:  The angle is (pi/2 · t).
From t=0 to t=4 sec, the angle changes by 2pi.  So the period is 4 sec.

-- Amplitude:  The biggest the cosine can ever be is 1 .
When the cosine part is 1, 'd' is 6, so the amplitude of the model is 6 .

-- Position when t=0:
When t=0, the angle in the cosine is zero.
The cosine of zero is 1 .
So when t=0, d=6 .  There you are.

Many plants produce brightly colored flowers with sweet nectar to attract pollinators such as bees who will spread their pollen
Tamiku [17]
Based on the given situation above, I can say that the symbiotic relationship that exists between the flowers and the bees is MUTUALISM. In this kind of relationship, both organisms benefit from the activities that they do. In this case, the brightly colored flowered need the bees for pollination, and in exchange, the bees get nectar. Hope this helps.

Answer:

C.

Explanation:

To solve the problem we need to use the concept related to Centripetal Force. According to Newton's second law, for an acceleration to occur, a force must act in the direction of that acceleration. Thus, if we consider a particle of mass m, in uniform circular motion, it will be subjected to a centripetal force given by:

F = \frac{mv^2}{r}

Where,

m= mass

v= velocity

r = radius

Re-arrange for the radius

r = \frac{mv^2}{F}

Our values are given by,

m=83Kg

v=3.2m/s

F= 560N

Replacing we have that

r= \frac{83*3.2^2}{560}

r = 1.51m \approx 1.5m

Therefore the correct answer is C.
