Answer: Null hypothesis gets rejected.

Step-by-step explanation:

ANOVA is an acronym use for Analysis of Variance.

It is a statistical method which is specifically designed to analyze for a significant relationship or difference between two or more samples.

It basically compares :-

  • Variances between the samples.
  • Variances within the samples.

Anova allows us to determine whether the variance between samples is greater than the variance within the samples or not .

In the beginning of Anove we declare null hypothesis = There is no difference between the population means and alternative hypothesis = There is statistical difference between the population means.

If variance between samples is larger than the variance within the samples , then it means there is difference between the sample means.

⇒ The null hypothesis gets rejected.

A well know Statistical Institution claims that the average College tuition for a law degree costs at least thirty five thousand
kirill [66]

Step-by-step explanation:

Below are the null and alternative Hypothesis,

Null Hypothesis, H0: μ = 35000

Alternative Hypothesis, Ha: μ < 35000

Test statistic,

z = (xbar - mu)/(sigma/sqrt(n))

z = (33450 - 35000)/(5978/sqrt(50))

z = -1.83

P-value Approach

P-value = 0.0336

As P-value >= 0.02, fail to reject null hypothesis.

There is not sufficient evidence to conclude that the average College tuition for a law degree costs at least thirty five thousand dollars.

Help? y - intercepts <br> What is the y-intercept of the equation 2x + 3y = 12?
Nookie1986 [14]

Answer:

2x + 3y = 12 Is the standard form for linear equations. To determine the slope, solve the equation for y in order to convert to the slope - intercept from7 y = mx + b where is m the slop and b is the y - intercept.

2x + 3y = 12

subtract 2x from both sides.

3y = -2x + 12

Divide both sides by 3.

y= - 2/3 x + 12/3 =

y= - 2/3x + 4

The slope is - 2/3

A 5 year lease for a office space states that the annual rent is 62,000 for the first year and will increase by 7% each addition
Jet001 [13]
First year- 62,000
Second year- 7% increased in rent= 66,340
Third year- 7% increased in rent (66,340)= 70,984
Fourth year- 7% increased in rent (70,984)= 75,953
Fifth year- 7% increased in rent (75,953)= 81,270.

Total 5 years lease- 356,547.
