Figure ABCD is reflected across the y-axis. What are the coordinates of A' , B' , C' , and D' ? Enter your answer in each box. A

' ( , ) B' ( , ) C' ( , ) D' ( , ) Coordinate plane. The horizontal axis ranges from negative 10 to 10 in increments of 1. The vertical axis ranges from negative 10 to 10 in increments of 1. Quadrilateral A B C D has vertices A at negative 1 comma 4, B at negative 5 comma 8, C at negative 5 comma 4, and D at negative four comma 2.

Solution:

Let me explain you the meaning of term reflection ,When a shape is reflected across a line or either through X axis or Y axis the two shapes that is image and preimage are congruent means neither the shape , nor size of image changes.

The vertices of Quadrilateral A,B,C,D are (-1,4), (-5,8),(-5,4) ,(-4,2).

When we reflect Quadrilateral A B C D which lies in second quadrant , across y- axis we get reflected image in first Quadrant.

The coordinates of A'(1,4), B(5,8), C(5,4) and D(4,2).

Yreflection in y-axis (x, y) → (-x, y)  **the sign of the x-coordinate changes, the y value stays the same**
A'(1, 4)
B'(5, 8)
C'(5, 4)
D'(4, 2)

What is the slope of the line?<br> y - 4= -7(2 – 6)
Serga [27]

Answer:

-7

General Formulas and Concepts:

Point-Slope Form: y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

x₁ - x coordinate

y₁ - y coordinate

m - slope

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1: Define function</u>

y - 4 = -7(x - 6)

<u>Step 2: Break function</u>

Point (4, 6)

Slope <em>m</em> = -7

Cathy has to deposit $410 worth of five- and tendollar
iogann1982 [59]
(# of five dollar bills=f ; # of ten dollar bills=t)
3t-1=f ⇒ this means that if there were 1 $5 bills, there would be 2 $10 bills.
So the ratio of $5 bills to $10 bills is 1 to 2.
We can plug that into another equation:
f+t=410 ⇒ I havent actually learned this in school yet so I just made a chart:         $10 ║ $5
------║------
2     ║ 1    = $25
4     ║ 2    = $50
6     ║ 3    = $75
8     ║ 4    = $100
10   ║ 5    = $125
and so on...
you probably found the pattern already, so you can conclude that [cathy deposited 16 five dollar bills and 33 ten dollar bills]

A
lso, you should probably check if there are any mistakes when going through this since I took almost an hour writing this.

If a cone-shaped hole is 3 feet deep and the circumference of the base of the hole is 44 feet what is the volume of the hole? Us
tiny-mole [99]
The formula for finding a volume of a cone is
V=πr^2h(1/3)
Plug in the values the have given you and solve.
3.14(7)^2(3)(1/3)
approx. 153.86 cubic ft.
