Answer and explanation:

A garden would support species that can grow well in the terrestrial habitat whereas a pond would support those species that grow in an aquatic environment. A major difference between these two environments is the abundance of water. In terrestrial habitat, less amount of water is available which is usually present in the form of moisture content in the soil particles.

Examples of two plant species that will grow in each habitat could be:

<u>Garden:</u> Lolium multiflorum (ryegrass) and Rosa indica (Rose)

<u>Pond:</u> Lemna gibba (duckweed) and Water Hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes)

<em>Non living features</em>

<u>Garden:</u> Soil as substrate media, abundance of litter, high dissolved oxygen

<u>Pond:</u> Water as substrate media, low dissolved oxygen

I've been stuck on this for I little bit now and could use some help:)
lana [24]

The answer would be:

6,250 joules

Here's how to do it:

KE = \frac{1}{2}mv^{2}

KE = kinetic energy (joules)

m = mass (kg)

v = velocity (m/s)

So with that formula let's figure out what was given to you.

500 kg and 5m/s

You know which is which based on the unit.

m = 500kg

v = 5m/s

Now all you need to do is plug it into your formula and solve.

KE=\frac{1}{2}mv^{2}

KE= \frac{1}{2}(500kg)(5m/s)^{2}

KE = \frac{1}{2}(500kg)(25m^{2/}s^{2})

KE = \frac{1}{2}(12,500kg\cdot m^{2}/s^2})

KE = 6,250kg\cdot m^{2}/s^{2}

The unit kg\cdot m^{2}/s^{2} also means joules

So the final answer is 6,250 joules.

What are the components needed in order for an experiment to be valid? Identify these components in the following experiment: A
MakcuM [25]
Well for it to be valid you are going to need a hypothesis,control,and variables. The control should be the plant food since it stays constant. And the variables should be the 2 different plants.
