The kinetic energy of a large vehicle is greater than the kinetic energy of a small vehicle, so the stopping distance for the larger vehicle would also be greater.

kumpel [21]

Answer:

A. "If they can get away with it, so can I"

Explanation:

Social-psychological research has revealed that exposure to televised violence might weaken viewers' inhibitions about using violence in their own lives. In other words, this means that by watching violence on TV, people will more likely think that violence is an option they can use in their day-to-day life.

Therefore, if Peter is one person that might be inhibited when watching violence on TV, he will likely think "if they can get away with it, so can I" when he watches a violent cops-and-robbers show since he will think that violence is an option in his day-to-day life.

Abraham Maslow suggested that "a person who is lacking food, love, and self-esteem would most likely hunger for food more strong
Nimfa-mama [501]

In this statement, Maslow is arguing that not all of our needs are equally important. Some needs, such as food or thirst, are our priority, and only when we satisfy these do we begin to think about others such as love and self-esteem.

An example that shows this are people who live in extreme poverty and steal food. People in this situation would rather compromise their safety, freedom and maybe even self-worth in order to satisfy their hunger.

However, some evidence points to the opposite as well. For example, soldiers who join the war do so to fulfill abstract needs such as earning respect and finding meaning, even if this means risking their safety, having little to eat and facing many uncomfortable situations. Another example is athletes. Athletes train to a degree that is uncomfortable and hard. They also limit their food intake to certain types of food in order to achieve goals such as self-fulfillment and a higher self-esteem.

Radda [10]

Advertisers who market products like deodorants, mouthwashes, and long-distance services succeed (in general) because they: convince consumers that their products are relevant to them.

Advertising is a marketing communication that uses overtly sponsored, impersonal messages to promote or sell products, services, or ideas. Advertising sponsors are typically companies that want to promote their products and services. Advertising differs from public relations in that the advertiser pays for and controls the message. It differs from private sales in that the message is impersonal.

It is not addressed to a specific person. Advertising is conveyed through a variety of mass media, including traditional media such as newspapers, magazines, television, radio, billboards, and direct mail. New media such as search results, blogs, social media, websites, and text messages. The actual display of a message in media is called advertising.

Commercial advertising often seeks to increase consumption of a product or service through 'branding', which associates a product name or image with a particular quality in the mind of the consumer.
