your answer is negative 4 it's so simple basically for negative is that it is not really minusing the difference between positive and negative numbers is that for example: -13 - 2 so you think the answer will actually be -11 but it is not you have to add it so for this -3 but leave the three by itself but then just add one equals 4 but then you add the negative at the answer if it is minus it is addition if it is addition it is minus see opposite.

-3 - 1

= -4

Hope this helps (Brainliest If I deserved it)

in chemical formulas, there are often subscript numbers (such as the 2 in h2o, or the 6, 12, and 6 in c6h12o6). what do these su
Gnesinka [82]

In a Chemical formula,  Subscript figures tell us how numerous of the element to their upper-left there are in the patch.

What is a chemical formula?

  • In chemistry, a chemical formula is a way of presenting information about the chemical proportions of titles that constitute a particular chemical emulsion or patch, using chemical element symbols, figures, and occasionally also other symbols, similar as hiatuses, dashes, classes, commas, and plus() and disadvantage( −) signs.
  • These are limited to a single typographic line of symbols, which may include subscripts and subtitles.
  • A chemical formula may indicate certain simple chemical structures, it isn't the same as a full chemical structural formula.

The subscript number indicates the total number of titles of an element present in a patch.

While witting a chemical formula, first we've to write the symbol of an element and also write the number at the bottom of the symbol.

For illustration,

C_6H_{12}O_6 is the chemical formula of the glucose patch. The glucose patch is made up of six carbon titles, twelve hydrogen titles, and 6 oxygen titles.

The number 6 of the carbon snippet is written after and at the bottom ( lower- right) of the symbol of carbon element (C). also, the number 12 is written lower-right of the symbol of hydrogen element (H), and the number 6 is written lower-right of the symbol of oxygen element( O).

thus, the subscript figures tell us how numerous of the element to their upper-left there are in the patch.

ANSWER ASAP David, Egil and Frances share money in the ratio 2:7:9. Explain why Frances will always get half of any money they s
8090 [49]

Answer: 80$

Step-by-step explanation:

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that David, Egil and Frances share money in the ratio 2:7:9.

Let 2x, 7x and 9x be the amounts of money that David, Agil and Frances get respectively.

We are told that Frances gets $80 more than David. So we can write this information in an equation as:

9x=2x+80

Now let us solve for x.

9x-2x=80

7x=80

x=\frac{80}{7}

Now let us substitute x=\frac{80}{7} in 7x (amount of money that Egil gets).

\text{ Amount of money that Egil will get}=7\cdot \frac{80}{7}

Upon cancelling out 7 from numerator and denominator we will get,

\text{ Amount of money that Egil will get}=80

Therefore, Egil will get $80.

1. 1/3 - 7/8rewrite the complex fraction as a division expressionshow the complex fraction in simplest form. 2. The lions won 35
Svet_ta [14]

1. 1/3 - 7/8

rewrite the complex fraction as a division expression

show the complex fraction in simplest form.

step 1

we have

\begin{gathered} \frac{1}{3}-\frac{7}{8} \\  \end{gathered}

Multiply the first term by 8/8

so

(1/3)*(8/8)=8/24

Multiply the second term by 3/3

(7/8)*(3/3)=21/24

step 2

substitute in the original expression

8/24 -21/24

the fractions have the same denominator

so

(8-21)/24

-13/24

therefore

the answer is

-13/24
