To find the mean, add all the numbers together and divide by the amount of numbers there is

89 + 92 + 97 + 81 + 96 = 455

455/5 = 91

91 is Andrew's mean score, and is your answer

hope this helps

First off, to find the mean, you need to add the numbers to each other, then divide the total by the amount of numbers you had.

In this case, your total after adding them together would be, 374, now divide that by the amount of different numbers you have, 5, and you will get your answer. The answer would be 74.8, or rounded up to 75.

vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeters of the similar figures have the same ratio as the sides.

ratio of perimeters = \frac{11}{6}

ratio of areas = 11² : 6² , that is 121 : 36

ratio of areas = \frac{121}{36}

Find the exact value of tan(theta) for an angle (theta) with sec(theta) = 3 and with its terminal side in Quadrant I.
stiks02 [169]

Answer:

c

Step-by-step explanation:

1 + tan²theta = sec²theta

tan²theta = 3² - 1

tan²theta = 8

tan theta = sqrt(8)

Positive because Quadrant 1

sqrt(8) = sqrt(4×2) = sqrt(4)×sqrt(2)

= 2×sqrt(2)
