I would think the answer would be 0.26 if you add positive 12 to both sides of 3 and 12 and then bring down 4a but before that you would get 15 and the divide by 15 on both sides then divide 4÷15=0.26

The answer is w = (4(a-3))/3. 12 is added to both sides to get 3w = 4a+12. Then 4 is factored out of 4a and 12 to produce 4(a+3). Finally, each side is divided by 3 to get an answer of w = (4(a-3))/3.

Answer (Please vote me Brainliest if this helps!):

The answer is D

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets start off with the square roots:

\sqrt{16} = 4

\sqrt{18} = 3\sqrt{2} = 4.24264...

Mixed fraction:

4\frac{2}{3} = 4.667

Therefore the answer is D.

Y = √8x³

dy/dt = 2√2 *  3/2 * √x * dx/dt
⇒ 5 = 2√2 * 3/2 * √2 * dx/dt
⇒ 5 = 6 dx/dt
⇒dx/dt = 5/6 cm/s

x coordinate is changing at 5/6 cm/s

A car purchased for $15,000 depreciates under a straight-line method in the amount of $950 each year. Which equation below best
alexandr1967 [171]
I believe it will be B. y = 15,000 - 950 x
So after a year it will be 15,000 - 950 = 14,050

Using the normal distribution, the area underneath the shaded region <u>between the two z-scores</u> is given by:

C. 0.6766.

<h3>Normal Probability Distribution</h3>

The z-score of a measure X of a normally distributed variable with mean \mu and standard deviation \sigma is given by:

Z = \frac{X - \mu}{\sigma}

  • The z-score measures how many standard deviations the measure is above or below the mean.
  • Looking at the z-score table, the p-value associated with this z-score is found, which is the percentile of X.

Hence, for this problem, the area is the <u>p-value of z = 0.75 subtracted by the p-value of z = -1.3</u>.

Looking at the z-table, the p-values are given as follows:

  • z = 0.75: 0.7734.
  • z = -1.3: 0.0968.

Then:

0.7734 - 0.0968 = 0.6766.

Which means that option C is correct.
