To convert a fraction to a percent, simply divide the numerator by the denominator and multiply the quotient (the result) by 100.

1. \frac{13}{50}
Divide 13 by 50 to receive the quotient
13÷50=0.26
Multiply the quotient by 100 or simply move the decimal two places to the right.
0.26×100=26
Add the "percent" symbol to your answer. (%)
As a result, the percent form of \frac{13}{50} is 26%

Similarly, all the fractions will follow the same procedure, in order for them to be converted to a percent. Simply add the percent symbol (%) after the result.

2. \frac{3}{5} = 0.6 = 60%
3. \frac{3}{20} = 0.15 = 15%
4. \frac{5}{8} = 0.625 = 62.5%
5. \frac{45}{90} = 0.5 = 50%
6. \frac{7}{5} = 1.4 = 140%
7. \frac{19}{25} = 0.76 = 76%

Percent means "out of 100" or "parts per 100". For cases where the numerator is larger than the denominator (improper fraction), such as 7/5, the result will be larger than 100% as well, as the total number of parts exceeds the parts available.

solve each equation. Round your answers to the nearest ten-thousandth. Show your work please. Part 2A
Reika [66]

Answer:

16. x = 3.0822, -3.0822

17. x = 1.6432, -1.6432

18. x = 1, -1

Step-by-step explanation:

16. log5[(4x²+2)/8] = 1

(4x²+2)/8 = 5¹

4x² + 2 = 40

4x² = 38

x² = 38/4

x² = 19/2

x = +/- sqrt(19/2)

x = 3.0822, -3.0822

17. log7[(2x²-4)(5)] = 1

10x² - 20 = 7¹

10x² = 27

x² = 2.7

x = +/- sqrt(2.7)

x = 1.6432, -1.6432

18. log5[(2x²+8)/2] = 1

x² + 4 = 5¹

x² = 1

x = +/-1

Okay, So An Equation To Write Is:
T = Time
S = Money Saved
R = Money Made Per Dog
C = Cost
T = (C - S)/R

Solve:

T = (108 - 30)/8
Simplify

108-30 = 78

T = 78/8

78/8 = 9.75.

T = 9.75

Now, You Can't Walk 0.75 Of A Dog, So Round It.

T = 10

So, You Need To Walk At Least 10 Dogs.
