The Answer is C because of there are 12 inches in a foot and and 12 divided by 3 is 4, that means 4 cartons take up 5 feet. 8 cartons take up 10 ft. 12 Cartons take up 15 feet. Assuming you can't cut 3 inches off a carton, the answer is C. 12

Answer:

Our answer is x=-2+\sqrt{2}.

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve for x, we need to isolate the variable. We can do so by subtracting 2 to both sides.

x+2=\sqrt{2} \\x+2-2=-2+\sqrt{2} \\\\x=-2+\sqrt{2} \\

Our answer is x=-2+\sqrt{2}.

Write the equation of the line with a slope of 1/2 that passes through the point (-6,10)
Katen [24]

Answer:

An equation is

y =  \frac{1}{2} x + 13

.

Step-by-step explanation:

☆Since since we're given the slope, all we need to do is find the y-intercept.

☆The slope-intercept formula is: y = mx + b.

☆We are going to plug in according to the formula.

y = mx + b \\  \\ 10 =  \frac{1}{2} ( - 6) + b \\ 10 =  - 3 + b \\  \frac{ + 3 =  + 3 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: }{13 = b \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: }

☆We have everything we need, so now we put it together.
