Based on this, Diagram A shows that the one space has no solute particles causing the particles to move against gradiation. The movement is shown in Diagram B. This process is used to equalize the solute particles in the solution.

2. In the diagram C, we can see that enough particals have moved over to the other side, or against the concentration gradient. The solution is now isotonic or equilibrium.
