My teacher told be to try and think of it as a circle, because circles are 360 degrees. Then to place those angles in the circle and it should make it easier to find the angles, because when you see it in the circle, you can divide it into 4 parts so that you would then have 4, 90 degree angles that you can then work off of by placing those angles you need to find into the circle. It was supposed to make it easier, and i genuinely hope that you can do this. You got this, and you will get through the pain of math tonight and many more. Good luck. ^-^

Vertical: opposite from each other (will have same degree)
Alternate exterior: the angles outside that are opposite of eachother (will have same degree)
Alternate interior: angles inside that are opposite of eachother (will have same degree)
Corresponding: the angle on the same side at the same level (will have same degree) example for corresponding: use picture for this question: giving angle 1 the corresponding angle will be 5 why?? They are both above the dividing line and are left of the parallel lines j and k
4. v 1,4 5,8 3,2 7,6
5. ae 2,7 1,8
6. ai 3,6 4,5
7. C 1,5 3,7 4,8 2,6

8. Angle 1 = 135 Given* other angle will be 45 *
Angle 2= 45 supplimentary angle add up to 180 (1,2)
Angle 3= 45 supplumentary angles add up to 180 (1,3)/ vertical angles =each other (2,3)
Angle 4= 135 vertical angles = each other (1,4)
Angle 5= 135 complimentary angles = each other (1,5)
Angle 6= 45 corresponding angles = each other (6,2) alternate interior angles = each other (3,6)
Angle 7= 45 corresponding angles = each other (3,7) alternate exterior angles = each other (7,2)
Angle 8= 135 alternate exterior angles= each other (1,8) hope that's not too confusing let me know if this helped

Which function has a domain of all real numbers except x=π/2 ±nπ?
boyakko [2]
<span>A. y=secx This problem deals with the various trig functions and is looking for those points where they are undefined. Since the only math operations involved is division, that will happen with the associated trig function attempts to divide by zero. So let's look at the functions that are a composite of sin and cos. sin and cos are defined for all real numbers and range in value from -1 to 1. sin is zero for all integral multiples of pi, and cos is zero for all integral multiples of pi plus pi over 2. So the functions that are undefined will be those that divide by cos. tan = sin/cos, which will be undefined for x = π/2 ±nπ cot = cos/sin, which will be undefined for x = ±nπ sec = 1/cos, which will be undefined for x = π/2 ±nπ csc = 1/sin, which will be undefined for x = ±nπ Now let's look at the options and pick the correct one. A. y=secx * There's a division by cos, so this is the correct choice. B. y=cosx * cos is defined over the entire domain, so this is a bad choice. C. y=1/sinx * The division is by sin, not cos. So this is a bad choice. D. y=cotx, * The division is by sin, not cos. So this is a bad choice.</span>

This sequence represents the diameters of circles used to create an art project: 2.5 cm, 3.1 cm, 3.7 cm, 4.3 cm Let f(n) represe
vlabodo [156]
The diameters of the circles given are listed as: 2.5 cm, 3.1 cm, 3.7 cm, and 4.3 cm. It can be observed that there is a common difference between the terms of the progression such that the difference between the first two terms is 0.6 cm. The difference between the third and the second is also 0.6, and so on. Thus, the equation that will be able to represent the given is,
                                   <em> f(n) = 2.5 + 0.6(n - 1)</em>

An earthquake causes a 3 kg book to fall from a shelf. If the book lands with a speed of 4.0 m/s, from what height did it fall?
r-ruslan [8.4K]
Given:
3kg book
speed of falling of 4.0 m/s
acceleration due to gravity -9.8 m/s²

Vf² = Vi² + 2 * a * d

Vf = final velocity ; Vi = initial velocity ; a = acceleration ; d = distance

0² = (4 m/s)² + 2(-9.8m/s²) * d
0 = 16 m²/s² -19.6 m/s² * d
-16 m²/s² = -19.6 m/s² * d
-16 m²/s²  / -19.6 m/s² = d
 0.82 m = distance

The 3 kg book fell from the a shelf at the height of 0.82 meters.
