Frank father has skin without sweat glands. where his mother has normal skin.So his father is also affected with a disorder and supposed to be mutant. Frank would have received the mutant chromosome from his father.

Nondisjunction would have occurred at meiosis I. Because, the chromosomes separate(and not chromatids) at that stage.while separation, both XY chromosomes would have gone into a single cell.So during meiosis II when sperm with XY chromosome fuses with Egg with X chromosome the daughter cell would have an XXY genotype which is klinefelter syndrome.

Answer:

Frank recieved the mutant chromosome from his Father

Nondisjunction occured in his Father during the first meiotic division.

Explanation:

As we can see in the question above, Frank's father has anhydrotic ectodermal dysplasia. Which is a hereditary genetic mutation that causes abnormalities in the skin, nails, hair and even teeth.

Frank has an anomaly in his skin which is the presence of spots that do not have sweat glands. As this mutation is passed from father to son, we can see that Frank inherited the mutant gene, for this anomaly, from his father.

Frank inherited this gene during the cell division process, in his father's organism. This cell division occurred during the formation of gametes (meiosis), precisely during meiosis I, where there is a reduction in the number of chromosomes to form the gametes.

What feature of alcohol fermentation makes it more suitable for the baking process than lactic acid fermentation?
telo118 [61]
Alcohol fermentation produces carbon dioxide gas as a by-product, and this is why alcohol fermentation is more suitable for baking. Alcohol fermentation occurs when breads are made. The carbon dioxide gas is what creates tiny air bubbles within the dough and makes bread be the light consistency we are used to. In contrast, bread made without yeast (alcohol fermentation) is very flat.

_______________ exposure to radiation can increase the risk of cancer.
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Repeated exposure to radiation can increase the risk of cancer.

What is cancer?

 • A set of illnesses known as cancer involve abnormal cell proliferation and have the ability to invade or spread to different bodily regions.
 • In contrast to this, benign tumors do not spread.
 • A lump, unusual bleeding, a persistent cough, unexplained weight loss, and a change in bowel habits are all potential warning signs and symptoms.
 • These signs of cancer may be present, but there may be other causes as well.
 • Humans are susceptible to over 100 different malignancies.

What are the four primary cancer types?

 • Carcinomas. The skin or the tissue that covers the surface of internal organs and glands is where a carcinoma first appears.
 • Sarcomas. The tissues that support and bind the body give rise to sarcomas.
 • A cancer of the blood is leukemia.
 • Lymphomas.
