The current government seemed to have no solutions and the Germans grew more and more depressed and the national identity was becoming lost. The outside world was also blaming the Germans for the war so they felt they had no support from without or within. When the Nazis, specifically Hitler, came along and said he could bring Germany back to its glory, the county was hungry for a new start
