Well lets think about it you need to make inches into feet
if they are telling us the units in inches so if we know i foot has 12 inches we would have to divide 156 by 12
156/12 =13
so that means she jumped 13 feet in long jump!

At a hot air ballon festival, Erica spots a red ballon due east at an angle of elevation of 36 degrees. She turns due west and s
gulaghasi [49]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Balloon in the east makes an angle of elevation of 36^{\circ} and is at height of 461 m

Balloon in the west makes an angle of elevation of 51^{\circ} and is at height of 296 m

Erica height is 1.6 m tall   so net altitude of Red balloon is 459.4 m

and net height of Blue balloon is 294.4 m

using trigonometry

\tan 36=\frac{459.4}{d_1}

\tan 51=\frac{294.4}{d_2}

d_1=632.30 m

d_2=238.4 m

Distance between two Balloons

d=d_1+d_2

d=870.70 m

For the place values that occur to the right of the decimal point, each place value is ten times ____ than the place value to it
Bezzdna [24]
<span>In the question "for the place values that occur to the right of the decimal point, each place value is ten times ____ than the place value to its left" The correct answer is smaller because in the place value system, the place values to the left of the decimal point decreases by a factor of ten for every number to the right. Thus, each new number is ten times smaller than the number to its left.</span>

Gabriel invested $900 in an account paying an interest rate of 3 1/4 % compounded daily. Daniel invested $900 in an account payi
Helen [10]

Answer:

$40

Step-by-step explanation:

The earnings of Gabriel can be calculated with the formula:

P = Po * (1 + r/n)^(nt)

Where P = 900, r = 0.0325, n = 365 and t = 19

So we have:

P = 900 * (1 + 0.0325/365)^(365*19) = $1,668.81

The earnings of Daniel can be calculated with the formula:

P = Po * e^(rt)

Where Po = 900, r = 0.03375 and t = 19

So we have:

P = 900 * e^(0.03375*19) = $1,708.97

So the amount that Daniel will have more than Gabriel is:

1708.97 - 1668.81 = $40.16

Rounding to nearest dollar, the difference is $40
